The police couldn't catch a cold. The war on alcohol was an admitted failure, the war on drugs is a failure, what makes you think a war on guns would succeed? Besides, I'd prefer that NOBODY had the guns. If your solution only guarantees that people like Koontz, Brisennio, and Powell have guns then I'm not for it.
