                  JOHN B. ANDERSON TO HEAD CNI
 
 One time presidential candidate and former congressman, John 
 Anderson has been named president of the Council for the 
 National Interest.
 
 CNI was established in 1989 by a group of former congressmen 
 and diplomats to provide a counter balance to the heavy 
 handed Pro-Israel Lobby.
 
 CNI claims credit for blocking the $10 billion loan 
 guarantee to Israel although President Bush finally did cave 
 in as election day approached.
 
 John Anderson replaces former Congressman David Bowen as 
 president with former Congresssman Paul Findley still 
 serving as Chairman of the Board.
 
 Among his many other qualifications, John Anderson 
 represents an excellent example of a growing group of 
 "born-again-Americans.  Like so many Americans that have 
 been brainwashed by the media and pro-Israel forces into 
 believing that Israel's "special relationship" with America 
 is based on high moral principles and American interests, he 
 was a strong supporter of Israel in his public life.  After 
 returning to private life he had a chance to visit the 
 Mideast and learn the reality of the situation.  He now 
 realizes that we have been systimatically lied to by our 
 government, their government and the media.
 
 We all welcome John aboard and hope that with his guidance, 
 CNI can become a force with lasting impact on our cowardly 
 representatives in Washington.
