RE INDIA AND AFGHANISTAN

I am normally not one to allow myself to be drawn into useless discussions on
the net, but this time I can not help myself. I would like whosoever responded
to my last post to go back and RE - READ it word for word. Did I even once make
any mention of Pakistan? Is there any mention of any aid or otherwise coming
from across the border? I clearly stated that the press should be doing more
than what it is doing to report the dastardly deeds of the Occupational forces.
It has been done in only spot areas when journalists have had to go to Kashmir
under the guise of being tourists so that the true story could come out.

Secondly, please do not proclaim to me or to anybody else Israel's respect and
regard for human rights. As you can plainly see, their recent deportation of
415 Lebanese, against the orders of the UN, is a blatant proof of their own
self righteousness. When Israel can kidnap clerics, such as the one interviewed
on 60 MINUTES, and occupy lands not belonging to it, then they cannot claim, or
rather you cannot claim, how much they support human rights and other such
drivel. It is clear that your love of the Israelis is a direct result of their
increased relationship with India in regards to combat training. I suppose that
when Yasir Arafat visited Rajiv Gandhi, the shoe was on the other foot when he
proclaimed his support for the Palestinians.

There is no arguing certain things. What India is doing in Kashmir is wrong.
Their cold blooded, wanton killing of innocents is completely unjustified. If
they kill militants, so be it, but far too many innocents have perished for
these to be considered incidental. International law has dictated a policy on
Kashmir which has been supported by the UN on two occasions, yet India remains
defiant. The US State Department has a report on Kashmir, as does the US
Congressional Human Rights Caucus and also Amnesty International, Asia Watch,
and many others. For anybody interested in reading these, just write your
Congressman and request a copy of any of these findings. Notice, they are all
published by non - partisan groups, so whatever you read is probably quite
accurate and true.

Thank You.
