The vast majority of people entering at _any_ time bring nothing but
misery with them. For a person to leave their home, and come to a new
country, they've got to be pretty miserable, and usually, pretty
desperate.

But the fact that they're poor doesn't mean they're worthless. Every
new wave of emmigration has brought unhappy, poor people to America.
Every time, the assholes among the established people have preached
doom if we allow this wretched refuse to continue to come to our great
country. And every time, they've become a part of American society,
and American culture, and the assholes among their group start to
preach about the dangers of allowing the next group in.

You're mother is Jewish, right Jack? When did her family come to
America? What did they bring with them? And where would you be now if
the bastards like you had succeeded in not letting that family come
here?
