Changeable polyhedral inserts for cutting tools

are produced in the form of sintered hard alloys on the basis of tungsten
carbides, titanium and tantalum on cobalt binder and on the basis of
carbonitrid titanium on nikel-molybdenum binder (KHT16).

They are used to fit lathe, cot, saw, and automatic bits and cutter, for
special bits and cutter, face milling cutter.
The cutting tools with mechanical fixture of changeable polyhedral inserts
 have a number of advantages.
-There are not thermic stress in the inserts wich increaces operation
durability by 25-30 % in comparison with soldered inserts.
-The cutting speed and working efficiency increace.
-The bits are chaged very easy.
-The total return of used inserts effects a saving of tungsten.
-The tool support of inserts are used many times (up to 100 times).
-It is possible to deposit a wear-resistant coating (1255 alloy).

The tools with a wear-resistant coating possess higher operation
 characteristics.
Changeable polyhedral inserts are used to fit assembled multifluted tools,
catheads, cutters and bits, which are used on machine tools, machining lines,
where high relability, quick-changing and inter-changeability are required.
The alloys depending on grade are used for rough and halfrough turning,
milling, drilling, core drilling, cutting and other sorts of non-continuous
and continuous surfaus processing of grey cast iron; corrocion-resitant, hard
and heat-resisting steels and alloys non-ferrous metals and alloys including
 non-metal matirial.
The alloy of grade 1255 has as basis the TT7K9 grade alloy.
The three-layered-coating deposited on hard alloy raises operation durability
in cutting in comparison with a basis no less than 3 times.
The hard alloy is interned for rough and half rough turning chrome-nickel,
 chrom-manganese, chrome-German silver, chrome-nickel-tungsten steels,
too-alloy, quick-cutting steels and for rough turning grey cast iron.
The alloy of grade KHT-16 is intended for half rough and half fine turning in
continuous cutting carbon, low-alloy, machine steels, non-ferrous metals on a
basis of copper, low-alloy alloys of nickel including the turning in uneven
section cut, fine and half rough milling carbon, low-alloy, machine and alloyd
 steels.
