I also recommend the PLI course.  _I_ took the _other_ course, and the
exam was a struggle.

Landis on Patents (from PLI) is great.  Another book, pretty new, that I
_highly_ recommend, even to take into the exam, is Clark Boardman and
Callaghan's Patent Application Practice.  If there were one reference I
would take (along with the Code, the Regs and MPEP) it would be that one.
