We have a registered US trademark that is classified for software
products. "Surefire" is a great trademark that portrays power and
excitement and can be used to denote an entire family of products such as
Surefire Web Browser, Surefire Results or Surefire by itself.

Please send any inquiries by E-Mail to makuta@worldnet.att.net

Descriptive, therefore weak. I would not pay much for it.

Anybody remember the big brou-ha-ha over 'traveling software', a
descriptive name for software for your portable computer? One party
thought it was descriptive, the other claimed it was a trade mark.

The Surefire mark has been used successfully for a number of years. Many
articles have been written regarding Surefire products world-wide
resulting in positive plays on the word by the press (like "this product
is a Surefire success.") and is easily remembered. It portrays power and
excitement and has done very well as a trademark. There's nothing better
than real world evidence to show a name works.

I agree with Rahul. This is close to being merely descriptive.
This is obvious from your statement there, which could just have
easily read "this product is a sure fire success" and we all would
have known what you were talking about. Weak. Weak. Weak.
