I may be helping a Prof. at the University of Victoria do some research
on a new course on IP specifically dealing w/ computer hardware and
software. As far as I know this is the first course of its kind in
Canada.

I will post a course outline when it is received. I have hard copy of
the outline but have not received an electronic version I can post. The
professor, Robert G. Howell asked me to solicit input on what this kind
of concentration this course should have, potential pitfalls,
difficulties of keeping this kind of material up-to-date etc.

I thought it would be useful to find out if other courses like this
are being offered. So:-

1. Are other Faculties of Law offering courses on IP focusing on computers?

2. Are instructors of such other courses interested in sharing their
insights, materials, outlines etc?

I am posting this to the lists cni-copyright; teknoids; to newsgroups
misc.legal, misc.legal.computing, misc.int-property, can.legal
misc.legal.moderated. Sorry for the duplication.

Please reply by E-mail. Please forward this query to anyone you feel may
be interested.

Thanks,
