The September 25th edition of the San Jose Mercury News listed the top
50 fastest growing technology firms in Silicon Valley. Much like their top
100 Silicon Valley list earlier in the year, I thought I would reproduce the
list along with the company's patent count and main patent law firm (some
companies use their own lawyers, some use many law firms).
No real correlation between the numbers in this list and the number of
patents. Only half have signficant numbers of patents, including a few
large firms like Informix and Cisco which have very few. Still, a good list
for those of you looking to play the stock market.
