As read at: http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2008/fortune/0812/gallery.market_gurus.fortune/index.html 8 really, really scary predictions: Dow 4,000. Food shortages. A bubble in Treasury notes. Fortune spoke to eight of the market's sharpest thinkers and what they had to say about the future is frightening. http://tinyurl.com/5z8ghf ************************************* Now, how many are willing to argue that their personal infection by the madness of greed had nothing to do with the reality of our collective and ongoing surrender to the demands of that infection? Woe! When the reality of the situation finally forces all such fools to "Think!", it shall be too late, far too late, to do anything about it. Watch as Russia joins OPEC and announces a production cut in order that they may satisfy the demands of their collective infection by the above stated madness. Watch as the growing recession develops into a worldwide "Depression" that leads to the use of all nuclear and other weapons of mass murder as humanity's collective embrace of its madness leads it to actively call for the use of such weapons in order that "Some" may have continuing and unabating access to the rest of our now precariously low supplies of conventional oil. Watch as fools try to claim the reward I offered so long ago to the first to be able to prove that "Alternative Energy Technologies" will be able to supplant our reliance of fossil fuels and do in time to prevent the full blown development of that "Here To Stay!" Depression. Stay tuned. And get ready. Get ready as millions start to "Tune Out" of and wilfully ignore and / or reject with all force the tax demands of nations attempting to sustain their unsustainable hopes of "Sustainable Growth". (Without which the artifice of "Capitalism" as the only hope for the world falls flat on its foolish face.) But . . most of all . . enjoy the picture of a rational world wherein the survivors shall, by dire necessity, be limited to individuals capable of thought and a wholesome acceptance of a credo that claims "We" must change, or see us destroy each other to the point that we will leave the world as an uninhabitable shell . . . Thank you. To a safer, saner and more caring world. To Duty. Daniel J. Lavigne, Founder International Humanity House *********************************** http://www.taxrefusal.com
