Pull out the seats, park in shade (or cover with tarp), and fill with grain. 3. Extra bedroom. Park close to house. take out seats, install one or two beds. 4. Miscellaneous storage. Take out seats, park in shade or cover with tarp, use for misc storage. 5. Large planter. Park on driveway or street, take out seats, windows, engine and other mechanical equipment, remove hood, cut off the roof, fill with "Bob's Cheap as Dirt Mix" (1/3 compost, 1/3 chopped straw or leaves, 1/3 soil), plant with vegetables or flowers. 6. Museum exhibit. Park on the lawn of a local museum devoted to "Mistakes of the Oil Era", with an sign explaining why this was such a foolish method of transportation and discussing the psychological deficiencies of "Homo Petroleinsis" that made it so popular. 7. Source of parts and metal. Take the machine apart, and use the various pieces for new purposes, e.g. make swords or knives out of the leaf springs, shovels out of the sheet metal, fishing weights, use the tires as planters, etc. 8. Cold frame. A hummer might work as a cold frame. Park oriented into the sun, fill with Cheap as Dirt mix as in #5 above, grow vegetables inside during the winter. 9. Children's Play Toy. Park in a playground, use as a climbing toy for children, maybe also as a "driving toy" for "pretend driving". 10. Community Bulletin Board. Park in a prominent location, put sheets of plywood on all four sides, use as a community bulletin board. ****************************************** I thank Bob Waldrop for the above. He shares my views of "Peak Oil"and what that poses for humanity's future. Speaking of which: Acting on your duty to refuse to support a society that would be party to murder could also help you save a few dollars and facilitate / render much easier your attempts to provide your families with goods and materials that will prove so necessary in our collective efforts to survive the "dieoff" period that shall develop in the near future; and definitely at some point soon after 2012. (See my letter to the Prime Minister of Canada by going to http://www.taxrefusal.com ). To a safer, saner and more caring world. To Duty; and a world wherein the majority understand and act on such concepts. Daniel J. Lavigne, Founder International Humanity House ********************************** http://www.taxrefusal.com
