No, the pig in Animal Farm was named "Wilbur". I believe it was either the
cat or the large Buick which was named "Snowball", but in any case the
Ministry of Truth killed the spider that Scott Fitzgerald was so fond of.
But this doesn't answer the question in point.
Cops are called "pigs" because they smell like bacon.
