DeForest Kelly dead?? Not likely. Not only is there a
lack of obits and TV coverage and ST memorabilia, but
no one told me or anyone else at ASTREX (Australian
Star Trek) and surelyit would have been announced two
days ago at the last meeting.

Majel Barret has always been involved with Star Trek.
She played `Number One' in `The Cage', Nurse Chapel
in the classic series, Lwaxana Troi (Deanna's mum) in
Next Gen and did the computer's voice in all series and
the movies. BUT she was never married to William Shatner.
Majel Barret married Gene Roddenbury (Great Bird of the
Galaxy and creator of Star Trek) whom she met AFTER
being cast as Chapel and married a few years later.
They had one child Eugene Wesley Roddenbury Junior
(Rod) who was accepted to compete in the Olympics
in Judo. (Astex Data magazine, #106)
