It seems to me that the phone companies are at odd with themselves.

First, they have advertised getting a second phone line for your
computer. 

Second, they offer and promote unlimited dialup internet accounts
themselves.

Seems to me that perhaps they are trying to corner the market
unfairly. Wait until it becomes a real market, and then change the
rules.

Just my two cents.
