We all have agreements with our phone carriers: we buy
long distance connections TIME on the per-minute basis,
and right for local CONNECTIONS for the flat monthly fee.

When you bought time under such a contract, you may chat
locally for hours, you may wait on hold for hours, and
you may connect to local ISP for same unlimited hours.

When I bought time, it is my business to decide how I will
communicate with others on it. Telling me that one mode of
my communication will be distinguished from all others and
paid extra is
VIOLATION OF MY FREE SPEECH RIGHT

They are just fighting net communications, Internet itself.
Because when you have ISP and know how to dance, you don't
need long distance s... anymore, and carriers are losing.
When you start to use internet phone, their loss increased
dramatically.

They feel a touch of something unpredictable what could be
death for their traditional way of doing business - and they
are trying to secure government action which will force you
back into the old and so convenient slavery.

------------------------------------------------------------

When you know that you can buy contract with a long distance
carrier where you will have a flat 10c rate for 24hours/7days,
why AT&T and other s... carriers keep calling you with offers
where you will be paying twice more? Because they think of you
as an animal which should work for them building their wealth.
So they will be attacking you forever - or until you force them
to treat you as a real human being. And all this is one more
attack attempt, nothing more.

So on this pretty warm day we farm animals just step across the
farm border to explore what pleasant and useful could be here in
this friendly environment. But farmer is immediately behind you
screaming and trying to punch - you forgot that you have some
duties and should work and work and work.. And there is nothing
interesting across the border. Never.
