Does anybody know how to make a cable for data transfers between portfolio and a pc using their parallel ports? Pin layout? The manual of the portfolio parallel connection says 'cable with a 25 pin D-type male connector on each end, or an adaptor to a(?) convert Centronics to 25 D-type connector' ((?) is mine) for file transfer. I know that there are more than one possible parallel connections (unlike for serial connections), depending on software. I tried to ring Atari Computers here in Sydney, but they seem to have vanished into thin air.
