Does anyone have any good ideas on the best method to
find a good Family physician or internal medicine
doctor, if you are new to a city? Like to find someone who is
thorough and more interested in successfully treating his
patients, than in judging the size of their bank
account.
Like to find someone who is good with diagnosis
and takes the time to do a complete workup on
physicals. Someone who has the old school values
about the doctor/patient relationship.
The business referral agencies in the phone book seem to
be most only interested in their profits; the gov't medical
boards generally recommend losers-i.e.-those who can't get
patients.
So, if your new to a city, what's the best way to know?
