I used to have one of the Cincinatti Microwave "Solo" radar detectors, the ones that were cordless and ran off 9 volt batteries. It survived and was returned after the LA riots when my car was stolen, twice when my car was broken into and has traveled around the world. It was ran over by a moving truck and still worked like a champ. ...until I did the worst possible thing - left it in a "friend's" car in another state and he "lost" it. Does anyone know where to get another original Solo detector? I called CM and they don't make them any more but said that there were places that were selling the old units as new-in-box. Anyone know of any mail order place that does this or have any experiance with the new CM models? Email preferred, PLEASE! My news mail account works only occasionally at best! Thanks for your response! --Doug Mason (douglas@netcom.com)
