I am looking for info on database packages that a novice user can
install and use with ease. Databases such as Informix, Unify, etc
are too sophisticated for this user, so I need really easy ones.
He would like to do house-type things on it (finances, allocations
of resources, recipe database, etc). I would like one that can
be easily understood by him yet one which I can program reports
and make the database look the way he wants.

Any information on easy packages would be helpful. I intend to
purchase one this weekend. Also, where in the Palo Alto/Mt.View/
Redwood City/Woodside area can I purchase these packages reasonably?

Please address mail to mad@sun.com or mad@pbhem (locally).

Thanks,
