I am neither an architect nor a builder, just someone who wants to learn for
himself.  I don't feel like paying $36.95 + tax for the 1989 Seventh edition
of this classic by (the late) Henry Parker, revised by James Ambrose, the
"best overview of structural engineering ... understandable by a layperson."
Since it's been around for decades, I wonder if anyone reading this has a used
copy they no longer want, a previous edition perhaps, for a reasonable price.
If you do, I'd appreciate an email reply, as I don't read these newsgroups.
