Well, my trusty old HP DeskJet finally gave up the ghost last week, and
unfortunately, I am now in the market for a new printer, but have very
little money available. And, unfortunately, all of the stores in my area,
as well as the mail order places, seem to be pushing color printers, whith
prices from the $300-$600 range, which is way out of budget.

So, I'm hoping that someone out there on the NET has something they can
offer me. Really, all I need is an INKJET printer. Resolution? I don't
really care, though 300x300 DPI is probably the minimum (I want it to look
at least decent, since I do print resumes, business letters, etc.) I
don't want color. And PC compatibility (DOS and Windows) is a must (i.e.
parallel port). And, of course, it must work. I don't really care about
anything else, except that portability would be nice (i.e. a CANON style
small footprint) but not absolutely necessary.

Please e-mail me at <picard@silcom.com> with any offers. Thank you!
