Dear Gentlepeople,

I am attempting to obtain a copy of the user or operating manual for a
Friden Model ST Automatic Calculator.  This machine was built circum WWII
or the Korean Conflict.  It is entirely machanical.

It can add, substract, multiply, and divide.  It can add or subtract 10
digit numbers, multiple 2 10 -digit numbers producing a 20-digit product,
and divide a 10-digit divisor into a 20-digit quotient giving a 10-digit
dividend and a 10-digit remainder.  An original copy would be an
unexpected boon.

For my purposes, a photographic or xerographic copy of the the manual
is sufficient.  A hand-written copy or a electronic copy that could be
reduced to typeset form (with manual processing on my part) would be
acceptable also.

An address or telephone number of Friden or a follow-on company would also
be useful.  I have not been able to locate Friden in the Thomas Register
of companies doing business in the USA.
