You ask " I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to get novels published once you've gotten them written. Eg. do I send it off to publishers? Is there a set of procedures or something I have to do first? Do I have to know editors here and there? Anything?" The first step is to buy the current copy of Writer's Market, and the second step is to study it. It provides a pretty good road map for the territory, and nobody who thinks about getting published should be without one.
