Cyberpunk fans will enjoy the installation from William Gibson's new book,
IDORU, now playing at the Playboy web site: http://www.playboy.com

Gibson is the genius behind such works as Neuromancer, Virtual Light, Mona
Lisa Overdrive, and the screenplay for Johnny Mnemonic. His knew book,
IDORU, is about a rock star who falls in love with a voluptuous virtual
reality construct.

The Playboy web site has never run a book excerpt before. Their William
Gibson also exhibit includes an exclusive Playboy interview in both
RealAudio and text.

IDORU is published by G.P. Putnam's Sons (http://www.putnam.com/berkley)
and is available wherever awesome books are sold. Those without web access
can get a text version of the excerpt by sending e-mail to IPS@olympus.net
with the subject line: Send IDORU.
