Best-Selling Author Diana Gabaldon to Guest Edit eSCENE 1997

I'm happy to announce that Diana Gabaldon, author of several
novels including the current _Drums of Autumn_, has agreed
to guest edit the upcoming 1997 edition of eSCENE, the
world's only anthology of the best short fiction being
published on the Internet.

(From her page at www.bdd.com) "Diana Gabaldon holds a
master's degree in marine biology and a Ph.D. in ecology,
and spent a dozen years as a university professor before
turning to write fiction full-time. Her previous publishing
history includes scholarly articles and comic book stories
for Walt Disney, as well as the award-winning novels
Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, and Voyager. She lives in
Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband, three children, and a
large number of animals."

We're in the final stages of selecting this year's crop of
great short fiction, and expect to post the new edition of
eSCENE in early May (providing for adequate production time
and coffee). For more information, visit the eSCENE site or
contact me at kepi@halcyon.com.
