After some unreasonable (from my humble point of view) amount of struggling, I have finally managed to get a PPP link up between my home machine (hawkmoon.mn.org running Esix 4.0.3) and a Sun SLC (medusa.stpaul.gov running 4.1.3) on my network at work. Are there any other public or demi-public sites in the twin cities area running PPP software? Particularly desirable would be public PPP sites on the Internet! I know that the "U" (of mn) has at least one SLIP (PPP too?) gateway, but you have to work/school there to have access to it and my minor UMN connections don't count enough in this regard... derek -- Derek Terveer Work: derekt@stpaul.gov +1 612 292 6009 Play: det@hawkmoon.mn.org +1 612 683 0413 "Big business and big government distract us with entertainment; they manufacture our consent while we destroy the environment."
