is this Hitachi monitor compatible with Diamond Stealth VRAM card?

We just bought a Diamond stealth VRAM card (super vga card) w/1MB for a
compaq 386-20 which has an attached Hitachi HM-4615-D-BC-3W color
monitor that used to driven by a verticom card. When driven the diamon
card it just displays a bunch of scrunched up random dots on the screen
and i was starting to wonder if this monitor is even a VGA monitor and
thus incompatible with the vga card. Does anyone know? The monitor
has seperate R/G/B/HV-H/V inputs and is prety old. No one knows where
the documentation is for this monitor or what it is -- it just used to
work with the verticom driver, that's all. If it isn't compatible with
this card, then there is no point in me wasting time trying to get it
to work...

Any help appreciated,

derek
