The Jews have a great deal to be proud of, as you point out so succinctly.
And I applaud any culture that advocates education and excellence through
personal achievement (most notably Jewish, German and Chinese, of which
I'm not.)

But you run the risk of proving Arch's arguments.  If Jews are so well
represented (entrenched) in positions of authority, how fair are they
toward those who are not Jewish?

In many societies, there is a tendency to discriminate against people
who aren't like the majority.  Furthermore, there is a complementary
tendency to discriminate in favor of those that are like the decision
makers.  In Texas, we've historically had a "good-old-boy" system
much akin to the fraternity networks found in major colleges.  Both
have the habit of advancing their own kind, through unwritten rules
of favoritism, and denying other candidates a chance at opportunity.

Your citing of 70% of the faculty in Law and Medical Schools
justifies the suspicion that just such inappropriate bias is taking place
there.  And since most legislators and politicians are trained by law
schools, the link between Jewish influence and political clout seems
apparent.
