Yep, I've had the Rezillo's CD for a while. I was looking for album art suitable for framing (they're great conversation pieces and look really cool in plexi-boxes on the wall). I happened across "Can't Stand the Rezillo's" on vinyl in mint condition for $8.00...couldn't resist. If you haven't heard the Silicon Teens debut LP from 1981, look for it. Some of the coolest synth-space-surf stuff around...ever! Now, If I could only find the X-Ray Spex LP "Germ Free Adolescents" I'd be set for life. Whatever happened to Poly Styrene? >Another great record store to visit out there in Ell-aay is Rhino >Records -- yes, they're a label, but they also have a retail store >on Ventura Boulevard (and I think it's still open). I have heard about it, and have probably driven past it several times. I'll look for it when I'm out there next. I dig the Rhino mail order catalog I get once in a while. Great reissues! The DIY series was brilliant and they're still some of my favorite CD's! > My personal fave is a place in Pasadena called Poobah's Records, >though they've gotten rid of most of their vinyl stock and now deal mostly in CD's. >But they have a lot of rare and hard-to-find titles -- worth checking >out. I don't get to Pasadena often, but I do get to Glendale. I'll try to check it out if I'm in the area (yes, I actually am jotting all the suggestions down). C'ya! Scott Smith scott@wwwebworld.com
