                   Principal CAE/CAD Engineer

     Medtronic, Inc., a manufacturer of implantable grade medical
devices located in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an individual for
the position of Principal CAE/CAD Engineer.  This individual would
be responsible for the specification, evaluation, integration, and
support of CAE/CAD/CASE tools into Medtronic's product design
environment.  Emphasis would be in the areas of IC layout, IC
layout verification, ceramic hybrid layout, PCB routers, analog
circuit simulation, and digital circuit simulation.

     Qualified candidates will have a BSEE, a minimum of 6 years
experience in using, developing, administrating, and maintaining
CAE/CAD environments.  Additional desirable background would be
either an MSEE or MSCS, and familiarity with UNIX operating systems
and the Cadence Design Environment.
