I heard that Obama resents being called a marxist, but that's exactly what he stands for, the central tenet of marxism: "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs." - Karl Marx Marxism advocates taking from the people who have, and giving to the people who have not, also known as "redistributing the wealth". Sound familiar? "I just want to spread the wealth around." - Barack Obama The problem is that after you do that for awhile, no one has anything. ( Except the ruling elite, of course. ) All incentives are taken away from those who have, to produce. Why should they, when it gets taken away and given to people who didn't earn it?! Once people find out that they can vote themselves money out of other peoples' pockets, it becomes a big free-for-all. "We have allowed our constitutional republic to deteriorate into a virtually unchecked direct democracy. Today's political process is nothing more than a street fight between various groups seeking to vote themselves other people's money. ( and, I think, freedoms ) Individual voters tend to support the candidate that promises them the most federal loot in whatever form, rather than the candidate who will uphold the rule of law." --Rep. Ron Paul Much of the world has already learned this lesson the hard way. Remaining examples are Cuba and North Korea. Look at a satellite picture at night, showing the difference between North Korea and South Korea and the difference is starkly illustrated. North Korea is dark, as in "the dark ages". So yes, if Obama is to be seen as the "Messiah", he should be seen as the "Marxist Messiah", because much of the world has already learned the lesson that marxism only creates equal poverty for everyone but the ruling elite. Only Americans haven't yet learned that lesson. Do we need Barack Obama and a Democratic-controlled congress to teach it to us? Think about that.

The exact quote is: "Its not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you..that they get a chance for success. I think that when you spread the wealth around, its good for everybody". This subject came up on a national talk radio show earlier this week and, surprisingly, a few small business owners called in and were very much in favor of Obama's policies of wealth redistribution. Their businesses were down because their clientele are suffering in the current economy and don't have as much money to spend with those businesses. The owners believed that a little tax reduction for the middle class would, therefore, improve their small businesses. When asked about the increase in the tax rate on their businesses, they all said they simply avoid extra taxes by re-investing some of their profits back into their businesses. You know, growing the business with new equipment or more employees. -- http://tinyurl.com/6s6ldb http://tinyurl.com/5zwctl http://tinyurl.com/3ho9gx http://tinyurl.com/3g4sa8 http://tinyurl.com/48o6l6 http://tinyurl.com/palin00010010 http://tinyurl.com/FeastInHell http://tinyurl.com/cantsayitenough http://tinyurl.com/TAL0001 http://tinyurl.com/palin00000110 http://tinyurl.com/2h2qg4
