Request info on 68K systems

I need to upgrade my 68K system (cp/m-68k OS) by trading it in on something
more expandable. But I don't want to mortgage my house to do it. What are
some of the systems you guys use and abuse, and how well do they work? What
kind of expansion bus is available, and how easy is it to add cards? Is there
anything like S-100 for these systems? Are these silly questions?

Price info would be handy as would addresses of vendors. Does it make sense
to get a *yuck* PC and add a Definicon or Pro-68 board to it. Are Atari STs
and Amigas really reliable? Forget Macs please!!

Thanks,
Robert Royar
