We are investigating process-to-process message passing using TCP/IP between a Symbolics and an Apollo. Although we have no problem with the FTP or Telnet between these two machines, we are having difficulties using the Datagram protocol for message passing. We would also like to attempt the more reliable socket protocol. Since Symbolics will not provide any support for TCP/IP message passing, we would appreciate responses from anyone else who is familiar with this. Thx. Larry. -------
