Try American Ink Products Company 527 Howard St. San Francisco 982-0161
This amazing little company has cheap printer ribbons for almost anything and
reinks old ribbons. One of their newest projects is refilling laser toner
cartridges for the Cannon engine (used in Apple LaserWriter) give them a call.

as to the durability and reliability of refilled cartridges, that I do not know
but we'd appreciate hearing about your experience
if you do use a refilled cartridge. Let us know on this BBS, will you??

[[Editor's note: The durability of refilled cartridges is something
we have discussed in great length in the past. My recollection of
what was said then was that they seem to work but they are not
necessarily up to 100% of the new ones. I would suggest that you send
any comments you might have directly to the author of this message and
ask him to please post a summary to the list if he learns anything
interesting. --Rick ]]
