[This article arrived with a rather mangled header, and no signature.
Please try to get it back to "pyramid@tikal.UUCP" per the "Reply-To:"
header line (which didn't look mangled).  I hope that "pyramid" will
summarize the responses.  It might be interesting.  -mod]

I'm curious.  What is the longest file name you use, and why?  Do you
use a special application that generates long filenames, or do you just 
like to be very specific?
