I've noticed a flurry of postings about spice lately so here goes:

Do any of you know of any public domain (or at least cheap) component
model libraries for spice? Discrete components (transistors, FET's,
etc.) would be a great start.

Is there such a thing as a spice user's group that collects such
things or must every spice user face the choice of reinventing the
wheel or buying expensive commercial libraries?

I've used spice just a little and, as you can see, am somewhat naive
about such things. Any help will be appreciated.
