I would sleep a lot better at night knowing that there were fewer guns in the country, and fewer people able to use them. The *last* thing I would want to do is move to a violent society like the US where every yahoo has easy access to a gun. I remember going into a pizza joint in Ohio a few years ago, and seeing a sign at the door saying "no guns allowed inside" (because they serve alcohol, and the state legislators at least had enough sense to realize that the two don't mix). The mere fact that there would even be a need for such a sign was very unsettling to me. I prefer to live in a society where the default assumption is that you don't have to worry about the fellow on the sidewalk beside you being armed. -- ##### |\^/| Colin R.
