For Dennis's benefit:

The book Karen is referring to is the english translation of ' Le
Quebec dans un Monde Nouveau', written by the National
Executive Council of the Parti Quebecois in 1993, and it is their
official position paper, to explain what the public can expect
from a PQ government. She is not referring to misc. quote
gathered in newspapers. It was a best seller in Quebec.

You may not agree with her comments, but you don't have to
be "english" to see the hypocrisy displayed by M. Parizeau in
his written preface, and the words uttered following the vote,
much less the words of other "leaders" of the PQ.

It is one thing to be ignorant through lack of knowledge, but
it is quite another to be ignorant by choice.

Quebec bashing, attacking the PQ leadership, etc. If that's what
you think it is that's up to you. You'll will have to live with your
leaders, and their tactics. But think about this, if everyone in your
family tried to tell you your best friend was a thief, you might not
believe them, but you'd be a fool not to think about it.
