It is a good point, although (I'll admit) I don't really care about the
distinction. It's kind of cool to be living in a country known for speaking
two official languages, but I think I'd rather have the world think of us
differently in exchange for a few more schools, hospitals etc. $750,000,000
is a lot of coin, just for impressing your friends.
