It takes CBC Sports to hire Mr. Hrudey as a commentator. How
embarrassing it must have been for him to have to sit next to guests
like George Laraque, and then, of all people, Marin Gelinas of the
Calgary Flames last weekend!
Some of us have not forgotten the incident during the Oilers era when
Hrudey (and other LA Kings) were involved in making racist taunts
('frog') on ice against Gelinas, and the Oilers made a formal
complaint to the NHL.
How about a formal apology to the French Canadian community, Mr.
Hrudey, or are you still the cocky thug on ice?
And, bravo CBC, for your ludicrous (and offensive) choices.
