This morning I was awoken at 6:20 AM by the honking/sirens of tow
trucks preceding snow removal. They passed twice, making an
incredible noise for 5 to 10 minutes each time. I can hear them
approaching from at least a block away.

I guess today I was lucky, because these trucks have passed before
blasting their horns at 1:30 AM and 2:00 AM, which is totally
unacceptable.

Waking up hundreds of people at that hour simply because 1 or 2 people
have parked on the wrong side of the street is completely unfair.
It's bad enough to have to hear this racket at 8:00 PM, but between
11:00 PM and 9:00 AM? Isn't there a law against this?

It's now 9:30 AM and the snow is still on the street. Basically, the
whole block got a rude awakening this morning for no reason, because
now that everyone is awake and off to work, all the cars are gone!

I'd like to see these honking/siren trucks banned. Isn't this called
"disturbing the peace"? And isn't disrupting hundreds of people in
order to save a couple people a towing fee a bit medieval? There has
to be a better way.
