Montreal's new Free-Net needs Programmers

Specifically, we need:

*PRIORITY*   - Unix programmers  (knowledge of FreeBsd an asset);

     - Assorted other Techies, for software installation, trouble-shooting,
       and maintenance;

     - Translators, trainers, fundraisers, writers, and basically anyone
       willing to donate their time to a successful Community Network in
       Montreal.

What's In It For You:

     - Recognition as one of the pioneers of Montreal's "Public Space" in
     Cyberspace;

     - Add to your CV;

     - Meet a great bunch of people;

     - Impress your peers!

Please Join Us

     Since the project began in December of last year, Club Libertel
has made great strides in bringing a Community Network (Free-Net) to
Montreal - entirely through volunteer effort and without public funding.
We're trying to build a solid base of support before going public --
that's why you probably haven't heard of our efforts. Right now, we're
incorporated, have all the technical stuff in place, but still need help
getting the server operational. The interface we're using has some
portability problems with FreeBSD. So we really need Unix-savvy volunteers.
