But before you can hand out a URL, you have to make sure it actually
works:

URL to open: www.clublibertel.qc.ca
Alert!: Unable to access document.

@cam % ping www.clublibertel.qc.ca
ping: unknown host www.clublibertel.qc.ca

It's been like that for at least ten days.

(The IP address is in numerical form, and is the real address that
matters. Each time you type in a name like www.clublibertel.qc.ca,
a computer somewhere has to look it up to get the numerical address,
and then it connects to that. If the mechanism for looking up the IP
address is not working, then you can't get to that site with the URL.
It's common, or perhaps it's defined, that you have that information
in two places, just in case one of them isn't working at any given time.)

Shades of Libertel! The same thing happened last fall, when Libertel was
briefly alive. As far as I can remember, and I could look it up, it was
the only time any one of the board of directors came down from the 13th
floor to post in the newsgroup. I recall that the name was stashed at
McGill, and the answer given was that big power blackout that occurred.
But I recall someone telling me that he couldn't reach the Libertel
website, indicating it might have been more of a problem.

A place to start, as with anything related to getting a unix system going,
is with a Linux Howto. Try:

ANd here's a good starting point to figure out where something went wrong:
