I think it is you who are misinformed, Yvon.  I believe your wife
had to prove that she attended one year of English elementary school
IN CANADA.  Children whose parents attended school in other countries
are not (generally) eligible for publicly-funded English education
in Quebec.  That's the whole point of Steve's endless postings.

Your child falls in one category, Steve's in another.  You may
