Well its happened. An Internet bully has had her account terminated
and may now be attempting to launch a civil action against a
worthy and internationally respected volunteer based community
organization.
Chebucto Freenet of Nova Scotia, Canada may soon be dragged
through the legal muck due to one persons perception that
Freenet access is a right and not a privilege.
My visit to their site earlier today revealed that all of this
mess is happening during one of their fundraising drive.
And now all this work may be harmed by one bully.
Anyone who wishes them well in their present plight
could help them by sending them a small donation
as a token of their support. This may help them offset
the damage that may be caused, by this possibly
upcoming frivolous legal action.
Im putting five bucks in an envelope along with my
best wishes and thanks for providing such a wonderful
service for their members in Nova Scotia Canada.
I am neither, a director, or volunteer or fund-raiser
for this organization. However I do have a great admiration
for these community based freenets, and the
valuable services they provide to their communities,
including myself way back, when I started my computer
and Internet hobby.
This is their URL
http://www.chebucto.ns.ca
This the address I found on their site,
on their Contacts and support page under "Help desk"
Chebucto Community Net

Lets give them a little help.
>It's got nothing to do with their spines. It's got to do with their asses.
>CCN is a community service. If they took her account away for making her
>posts in newsgroups, she would haul their asses into court!
