🚀 go-pugleaf

My bicycle frame suffered a catastrophic failure last night when I was
riding home.  One of the struts which extends back from the main part
of the frame to hold the rear wheel's axles sheared completely.  I
called Ace Wheelworks (Somerville), but the welder they recommend is
at their Belmont location (a little far away for someone without a
car).  Broadway Bicycle School (Cambridge) do not do welding.

I've had it suggested to me to look up welders in the yellow pages.
Does anyone have any recommendations, or know of a bicycle shop which
has STAFF that can do welding or brazing work?  I'm not concerned
about cosmetics (just want a sturdy repair job), nor is it an exotic
weirdo frame or a particularly difficult repair job, I think.
