     As for the "right of return," most Palestinians left the area
set aside by the UN partition for Israel either voluntarily or after
the invading Arab armies told them that anybody found there would be
killed.  They expected to return to a Jew-free area after the Arabs
conquered, but--surprise--the Arabs lost.
     The Palestinians can return to their homes in Israel as soon as
the hundreds of thousands of Jews expelled from Iran, Iraq, Syria,
Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco are allowed to return home and given back
their confiscated homes and possessions.
     And even if your fiction above were true, Israel would not be an
"illegal state" with no right to exist.  Nazi Germany,  Fascist Italy,
and Imperial Japan were aggressors, but the objective was to thwart
their aggression, not to eliminate them as nations.
