HEALTHY MEN NEEDED FOR DRUG-FREE SLEEP STUDY Healthy men, ages 18 to 30, are needed to participate in a drug-free study on circadian rhythms and sleep. Participants will benefit from a free medical evaluation and will be compensated up to $750 for their stay at the lab. Participation requires that subjects maintain a regular sleep schedule for several weeks at home and then spend 11 days (including 10 nights) living in the lab while we monitor sleep and hormone levels. Participants may engage in leisure activities for much of the time in the lab. Learn a new language! Create a work of art! Get paid while doing it! This study is being conducted at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. For more information please contact Johnette at (617)732-4311. LOOKING FOR A TEMPORARY JOB? Healthy men and women, ages 20 to 40, are needed to participate in a drug-free study lasting 12 to 16 weeks examining the effects of light exposure on shift work. Subjects are required to wear a home monitor when they sleep, and work on computer tasks 5 days a week on a day, night, and evening shift rotation in our laboratory. In addition, they are required to sleep in our laboratory facility one night a week where we will carry out physiological monitoring. Participants will benefit from a medical evaluation and can earn between $2,500 and $4,000 for their time and effort. This study is being conducted at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. For more information please contact Johnette at (617)732-4311.
