That's the free marketplace of ideas. Bingo! What's at my root fear is that discussion, other than on the net, seems to be a dying concept. For the record, I think it's great that Dice-man is going to speak and that these "protestors" (if they're not part of a PR stunt) are going to protest. That's all part of the marketplace of ideas concept that not only makes great buzzword speak but is also great in action. What bothers me is the Political Correctness agenda that's been promoted in a manner that's intolerant of opposing opinions on many universities. The agenda itself, I could care less about. It's the squashing of opposing opinions from having a chance to be presented that bothers me. If you read the original post, you'll see that the goal of this aleged group "REAL MEN" in this action, are seeking to have Dice-man silenced by pressuring the owner of the Comedy Connection. This is very similar to Church groups deciding which books are going to be banned from the school library. I have not problem with this group "REAL MEN" being opposed to what Dice-man says; I do have a concern when the accepted social action is to have him silenced. - John "ACLU" Cooley
