The net-net is that you post a message trashing a respectable American citizen, and right off the top admit that you named the wrong guy, and don't even have any proof that the wrong guy didn't anything. And when you boil it all down, we don't even know what they were talking about, and whether it was about something bad. In fact, if they had evidence that some kind of crime was committed, they have a civic obligation to talk to the police and let prosecutors know what they know.
